The non-profit organization, Georgia Music Archive Project (GMAP) intends to celebrate, educate and entertain the general public regarding the rich history and legacy of Georgia’s music industry greats while serving as a distributor of information relative to the current Georgia Music landscape via multimedia projects i.e., Arts and Educational events, Video Archive and Documentary, Historical Excursions and ultimately an online presence to serve and promote the ideas pertaining to said intention, otherwise known as Our Mission.
The music and information espoused from GMAP will highlight the illustrious careers and contributions of individuals and entities that have made and are making a significant impact in Georgia Music including Recording and Performing Artists, Radio Jocks, Producers, Engineers, Label and Venue Owners, etc. Anyone who has contributed in some way to Georgia’s Musical Legacy would be eligible for inclusion in GMAP.
This fantastic and necessary endeavor ensures that the musical legacy of Georgia will be impressed upon the youth and in turn preserved and passed down to future generations!
